A while ago I mentioned I was going to be doing a Pokemon Moon comic since I don’t have enough time to focus on editing right now. The comic really requires less focus and can be easily picked up at a later point–do a brief drawing for a few minutes, then do something else. With writing I need to spend a lot of time focused on it, and if I come back to it a while later in the middle of something then everything will be interrupted and confusing. I need to have all the time in the day available.
Well, I’m actually surprised I kept this up so far. Drawing is never something I’ve done well, and a lot of the time I give up. This, I think, is because I tried to make it look decent and also didn’t just throw it together in MS Paint. I use MS Paint and a mouse for all this. It makes it work because I don’t care as much. When there are no outlines, then you are truly free.
Unless I’m writing a book in which case freedom is confusing and goes nowhere and falls off a cliff.
If you follow my Twitter you’ll see I’ve been posting them there. You can also see them in the sidebar there. When I’m not talking politics, I guess. I’ll probably post them here on the website in batches of ten after this. As I said before, I didn’t want to fill this place with a comic every day when the focus is my original creative Cloudy Cuckoo Cosmos endeavors (although maybe I shouldn’t care about that distinction??)
