The gears turn until a clang
Followed soon by a bang
Something’s wrong–oh dang
Suddenly out a gear sprang
It hit the wall as clatter rang
The machine felt it all with a pang
Some woodland creature thought it a spang
The machine proceeded to give a harangue
The gear dislodged from the wall with a twang
Undamaged, though the strike rather stang
It reattached–’tweren’t no thang
Whole again, it rotated–it sang
Slowly, peacefully did hum the Klang.
