Moon (no I’m not going to call her Selene) watched an Araquanid, making notes on her Pokedex.
“Aw, it’s so caring,” she said. “It found a weak Pokemon and pulled it into its bubble to protect it!”
Sun (I’m definitely not calling him Elio) looked up at it.
“Uh, that Araquanid is definitely drowning that Pokemon.”
The two trainers glared at each other.

All my scripts were written in email and sent to myself because I’d originally been working on these during downtime at the old dayjob and so I needed to see the scripts there. Due to this I can’t actually edit the scripts, so when I realized I forgot to type down that I caught a Sandygast I just had to remember about it. Granted at this point I could put it all in a notepad since I’m doing these at home but uh.
Also FIG I’VE BEEN DOING THIS FOR ALMOST A YEAR
As it turns out after I wrote this comic at the time it made me remember that I could fight Lana and Mallow at this point.
Pretty sure this is the last outfit change for me, though not for my Pokemon!
I wanted to actually include them attacking something but didn’t know what to put so I just went with Sandbag.
I think I’ll abandon this project and start making The Adventures of Frowny Punk Girl instead.
As hinted at last time, Mimikyu has been added to the party, slick, along with Mareanie. This is a bittersweet point–Sludgy-Mouth is gone, who ended up being ridiculously fun to draw in the comic, but she is gone now. On the other hand, now we have Slick. MIMIKYU JOKES FOREVER.
I also have a bonus image. I’ve been drawing these in MS Paint but I’m going to move to Gimp entirely so I can use layers, but because of that it would be easier to start drawing it with smooth edges instead of the pixelly ones I’ve been doing. I made a test drawing with both styles and I still don’t know ahh
And yes this is an Inkling from Splatoon with a Mareanie hairstyle. You can change your hairstyle in Spla2n and I really want a Mareanie hairstyle available.
Gen 7 was very good for Bug-types, which is good considering the terrible showing it had in gen 6. And Araquanid is kind of ridiculous for a Pokemon that evolves on level 22.
Also, happy I get to draw Ribombee now. Like Cutiefly, its appendages are very fluid and wobbly.
