Now up, Darmenzi Chapter 6: Mystery in the Winds

I made this available this morning but had not enough time to make a post about it, so here it is: Darmenzi Chapter 6: Mystery in the Winds. This chapter features a dragon, and maybe a dragon. Also, Numer setbacks, Duth silliness, and a missing arm.

I really do not post as often as I’d like. I hardly feel I have the time for it, though. Plus my small ramblings go to Twitter, and my weekly updates are at my Patreon, and this was not just a segue into talking about my Patreon!

Anyway, besides that, the busy season is starting at my day job, so blaargenhaargen to that. I’ll be active next year. That’ll be my New Year’s resolution: obtain ownership of all money in world so can spend more time here.

Steel Stupidity: Chapter 4 of Darmenzi is up!

Chapter 4: Metal Morons is available to read.

I put some consideration into making that the entire post, but it seems a little empty. What have I been up to? I’m actually a few chapters ahead now, so I’ve been working on some other stuff. Okay, so far “other stuff” has mostly included video games, but I have finally gotten back to editing my encyclopedia.

Anyway! I’ll see you next month. Go read about iron idiots.

P.S. Patreon! You know you want to help me exist purely on writing silliness. You know you want to help me not have to ever leave the interior of my home again. You know you want to give me a dollar now and then get the ebook of Slubes when it comes out later.

Darmenzi Chapter 2 is available

Darmenzi Chapter 2: Celebration Blowout is available. In this chapter, everything is ruined. This… This happens several times throughout the story, actually. It features the return of everyone’s favorite cephalopod (would you BELIEVE this spellcheck doesn’t have cephalopod? I fixed it) Con’.

In Slubes news, it’s ready to go back to my editor. Now that it’s out of my hands for a little bit, I just need to get a couple months ahead on Darmenzi and suddenly I’m not in a constant state of emergepanichaos anymore! Yay!

Location Profile: Hackney

There’s one thing you should know going into this: I am not going to explain where the name came from. I haven’t a single clue where I came up with that. Apparently there’s a London borough of the same name, though, but neither that nor horses have anything to do with the island Hackney.

So, Hackney is an island. I already said that. It’s where the majority of Slubes takes place, and is divided into a west and east half. The west half has the village of Nottle and a volcano called Mt. Dynamo, and the east half features Gelago City, Reptibia Rainforest, and an old manor that is unkempt and overgrown but with a manor house that is kept fairly clean by its residents, the ghostly spiest (hence its title of Spiest Manor). Oh yeah there’s this feature that cuts off the post on the main index page thingy, forgot about that.
