Odemon #271

The fisher looked at the line of children beyond the glass. Most of them were crying, but at least one of them was all an act, they knew.
“Okay,” the police officer said, “do any of them look like the one who stole your fishing rod?”
The fisher peered closely and pointed to the second one. “That one looks kind of familiar.”
The officer turned on the speaker into the line-up room. “#271, can you move forward?”
“Lombre.” #271 stepped forward. This kid wore a sombrero and seemed to have a rather wide, red nose.
“Yeah… Yeah, that’s the one!” the fisher said. “That kid stole my fishing rod!”
