Locations

Many worlds and many lands exist in the Cloudy Cuckoo Cosmos… which is itself technically a location, but is only a nickname for ease of referring to the universe these stories take place in.

Derantu: A planet of the Cloudy Cuckoo Cosmos. Technologically advanced, the planet is split into many species co-existing among divided nations. Appears in: Wandering Fortunes

Salenth Kingdom: One of two major scalago kingdoms on Derantu, a land of peace and prosperity and technology. Appears in: Wandering Fortunes

Thraundlus Kingdom: The Thraundlus Kingdom is one of two major scalago kingdoms on Derantu, a hard land with rough soil but caverns with riches. Appears in: Wandering Fortunes

Mintop: A planet of the Cloudy Cuckoo Cosmos. Among its neighbors it is something of a third wheel. Tropical and diverse, though. Appears in: Slubes, Darmenzi, “Tough as Blades”, “Liquid Melancholy”

Flaeneath: A deserted island and homeland of slubes, the island is desolate and supports no life now. Appears in: Slubes

Hackney: An island in the south seas of Mintop. It’s divided into a west and east half and has two settlements, the simple village of Nottle and the developing town of Gelago City. Appears in: Slubes, Darmenzi, “Liquid Melancholy”

Interp: An island in the south seas of Mintop. In its center is the vast city of Interpolis, while to the west is Shellport, a harbor with connections to the modern lands of the big continents. Appears in: Slubes, Darmenzi, “Tough as Blades”

Zhop: A planet of the Cloudy Cuckoo Cosmos. Cold and often bitter and distrustful. Appears in: Wandering Fortunes

New Zhopolis: Capital city of Zhop located near the north pole, earning it the description of the top of Zhop. Sprawling, densely populated, and full of all walks of life, from the rich to the poor to the military to the business to the artistic to the peaceful to the monstrous. Appears in: Wandering Fortunes
