Sentret crept through the evening field. Separated from the pack, she was too frightened to even think of lying down for sleep. She whimpered as she walked through the grass, always rising on her tail to look for the others.
Sentret heard a whine nearby and screamed, flailing her arms and tail. She fell to the ground and hid under the grass until she saw through the grass a Ledyba hugging the soil, shaking but otherwise still.
“Wh-Who are you?” Sentret asked. “A-Are you okay?”
“All alone,” Ledyba muttered. “A-All alone. Too scared to move.”
“M-Me too,” Sentret said. “I got separated. I’m t-too scared to sleep.”
“Separated from group,” Ledyba said. “Sc-Scared. All alone.”
“Y-Yeah, b-but”–Sentret crawled to Ledyba–“If we’re alone together, th-then we’re n-not really alone.”
Ledyba looked at Sentret. “M-Maybe.” They relaxed their grip. “But where are others?”
“Maybe w-we can look together,” Sentret said. “W-We can find our packs, or one of them, and then together we can find the other’s.”
Ledyba shrank. “But all alone, can’t move.”
“Not all alone,” Sentret said. “I’m here. I won’t leave. W-We can sleep and g-go look in the morning.”
“A-A-All right,” Ledyba said.
“HEY!”
Sentret screamed and flailed as Ledyba whined and hugged the ground again.
“Up here, you dorks!” A Spinarak looked at them from a web in a tree. “I’m an early route Pokemon! I want to go on some stupid journey!”
“Y-Y-You just w-want to eat us!” Ledyba said.
“That’s entirely besides the point!” Spinarak yelled.
“Everyone stop yelling!” Sentret yelled.
ANYWAY ALL THE YELLING CAUSED THE OTHER SENTRET AND LEDYBA TO FIND THEM AND SPINARAK WAS A BIG HERO AND THE MORAL OF THE STORY IS TO NEVER STOP YELLING!
